There is something to be appreciated in the simpler things in life. Things that don't need to be complicated. Things that can just be. That's what this was supposed to be. Dabi just wanted to have fun. To just be. He wasn't supposed to feel shit. When he noticed what was happening it was too late. He couldn't do what needed to be done.
