Summary
Orpheus has grown up in a world where money, power, and influence dominates everything. And so, he's learned to ruthlessly use all of it to his own advantage, if that's what it'll take to protect himself and the remaining family he has left...That’s the whole point of his life, really.
At such a young and tender age, Orpheus was groomed to become the head and lead the Deross Family into greatness and overthrow the current Mafia Lord residing in London. For this, he endured having blood on his own hands and thought he could finally put an end to the role he was given, only to find that there is more to what he believed was a mere silly game played by adults.
There are always those that try to take over the family and oppose the rise to power. Orpheus can never tell whether any act of goodwill is genuine or simply a gesture of deceit, especially when he's met two people who made him feel something deep within his chest that just can't be explained. He tries his hardest not to get involved with them, though his heart yearns to be able to understand the feelings, even if it hurts.
Orpheus wonders whether if he'll ever get out of this cage he's been locked away in for so long.

Summary
Orpheus was a very popular professor among the students, as well as among his colleagues. He was young, funny, kind, and handsome. It was common to hear young students giggle about their crush on him like high school girls talking about a famous actor. Although his subject never fascinated many students, the rumor spread that the new literature professor was hot and since then, there has never been a single place left empty in his class anymore.
On the other hand, Mr. Kreiburg was almost the polar opposite. The infamous music professor was known to be cold as ice, mean, and basically the most boring and annoying man ever. The only thing he had for him was his pretty face, and maybe his mesmerizing piano skill, that somehow were enough to attract some brave students to his class.
Because of all the previous reasons, there was no way, in anyone's mind, that those two could be related in any other way than a hate relationship.
