Every time your soulmate was happy, the world would light up in arrays of green. Every time they were sad, the world would be colored with shades of blue. Every time they were angry, it would turn into a spread of red. Any other emotion was the same gray tones that everyone was born with. When soulmates met face to face for the first time, the world would lift it’s grayscale and would consist of a wonderful display of colors, and the three colors that most people had seen up until that point would just occasionally tint the surrounding area with their hues.
