Shouto wasn’t sure what went into packing for a picnic, exactly, but Izuku and Katsuki had insisted on handling everything, so he was spared having to fumble his way through it. All he had to do was eat a light breakfast (Izuku’s suggestion) and wear clothes suitable for hiking (which Katsuki told him).

Summary
Izuku is not entirely sure he understands all of Shouto's rules and habits, despite Shouto's efforts to explain. He's doesn't think Shouto understands either because when they'd talked about it he'd said he doesn't know why certain things make him upset. Just that they do.
Izuku presses his thigh back against Shouto's and feels the other relax. He smiles at Shouto and sees the corner of his mouth raise the tiniest bit in return.
