“Maddie! You forgot your lun-“
Sonic froze. In the middle of the treatment area; stood a black hedgehog.
Shadow the hedgehog.
He wore light blue scrubs with cute kitty cats faces printed on his top, in his arms was an angry cat in a towel who Shadow was saying reassuring words to. Next to him was Maddie who was checking the cat’s ears with an otoscope while the LVT Elise fed the cat a puree treat which the cat greedily ate despite not being a fan of what they were doing to her.
Sonic would have found the sight before him funny, cute even, but he could only focus on the thoughts running through his head:
Shadow was alive.
Or "Shadow becomes Maddie's clinic's newest veterinary assistant"

Summary
Sonic was dead, for a whole year that is what everyone believed. His sudden disappearance and lack of evidence of where he could be caused them all to conclude that he had died. That was until Shadow, along with Tails, Amy, and Knuckles found themselves in the world of Camelot, the kingdom ruled by none other than Sonic who, after saving Camelot, had found himself stuck. There was no way to get back home and the kingdom needed a ruler.
Up to this point, Shadow believed he was unfit to grieve a person he did not know, a person who he had pushed away time and time again. But here was his chance, before they would all need to return home, he could finally get to know Sonic, who he truly was.
One slight problem; the carbon copy of Shadow known as Lancelot seems to hold a grudge against him. If he wants to befriend Sonic, then he must go through his most trusted knight.
But why does Lancelot look at Sonic like he holds up the moon and the stars? Why does Sonic talk about the knight with such endearment? Wait. Are they flirting???
Or “Shadow watches Sonic and his medieval doppelgänger flirt with each other and is very confused”

Summary
Sir Lancelot did his best to keep his relationship with King Sonic completely neutral. Was he loyal? Of course. Was he completely and utterly devoted to him? Always, just as a roundtable knight should be. But Lancelot always tried to keep his outside demeanor nothing more than cordial and respectful.

Summary
For as long as Tommy can remember, it’s been him and Ranboo, fighting and being there for each other, with some interruptions, and then some additions.
Wilbur and Techno have been gone for seven years off in America, and finally they are coming back home excited to see their father Phil and their little brother Ranboo again.
Little do they know though that Ranboo isn’t quite Ranboo anymore, and they have a lot to make up for.
“Dear stranger,” Tommy writes “Once I was the victim and you held the gun, Once I was the victim and you had to run, but now you are the victim and I hold the gun, and all I can say is, you have hell to pay, you better run.”

Or another neglectful sbi story where Wilbur and Tech are gone for some years and then suddenly return, in which Tommy and Ranboo share a body, have hella trauma, and Tommy doesn’t have many memories of sbi (especially not positive ones.)
