Summary
Kai is trying his best to survive in the Land of Monsters but after getting a wound serious enough to almost kill him it seems like its almost over for him before a mysterious Light embraces him and drags him back to the past... Back to just after they defeated the Overlord. Three full years almost in the past and Kai has a decision to make of if he wants to change the past or risk changing it and causing something worse to happen.
He also has to figure out if he wants to help his past self get better coping mechanisms because if he doesn't change anything else at least that should help right?

Summary
Hunger starts small.
Kai feels it fluttering beneath his ribs, like a bird rattling against a cage. It flares and dies now and again, calling him back to that aching feeling. At first, it's nothing to note. He'll just stuff his face with whatever until it leaves.
But after a while, it takes a little more to placate. After a while, it takes too much. After a while, it takes everything.
After a while, it's all that's left. And nothing in the 16 realms can satiate it.
Except one thing.
And he hates it.

Killing the omukade turned out to leave quite the hefty consequence. Now holding it's curse, Kai finds that on some nights, only something specific can whet his appetite.
Who knew elemental masters could be so... crunchy.
