Nullble remembers everything. The breaking point, the moment they thought it would finally end, and the way Jester smiled and decided otherwise. Instead of letting things stop, she sends them somewhere else. Somewhere brighter. Quieter. Wrong in an entirely different way.
Now they’re in the circus.
In a version of it that doesn’t make sense.
No one here acts like they should. No one is afraid of Pomni. Not even Pomni herself.
And that’s the most terrifying part.
As the others try to help and the days stretch into something almost gentle, Nullble finds themself caught between what they know and what they’re being shown—between fear and something dangerously close to trust.

Summary
After Caine’s meltdown, things in the circus finally start to feel… normal.
Adventures slow down. They rest.
And somehow, Zooble and Gangle are allowed to stay close without interruption.It almost feels like they have a future.
They talk about things they’ve never said out loud before—about life outside, about what they lost, about the kind of people they wanted to be.
About having a family.
And then, of course, Caine hears them.
Now Zooble is carrying something that shouldn’t exist in a place that isn’t real.
