Summary
"So you... invented this dance?" Aziraphale asked, clapping along with the rest of the crowd, listening to the music they were making. It was a delightful, fast paced, popular song, played by fiddles and mandolas and tambourines, but the main attraction was spinning in the middle of the circle they stood in: A young girl, with long black hair and dressed in flowy red skirts, jumped around barefoot to the beat, mesmerizing, and fast, like her life depended on it. The sun was beautifully bright, painting the stone floors of the piazza they were in a deep warm gray, the smell of salt from the sea clung on people's skin like summer, and it felt like even the hot wind had stopped blowing to listen to their music.
"Well, wouldn't say I invented it." Crowley replied stretching his arms behind his back and smiling, like he was about to say something funny.
"I'd say it's my fault.""What? The dance?"
"Yeah."
"The dance is your fault?"

Jiang Cheng’s cheeks have flushed bright red again. It really is sweet, just how quickly such a stern man can become flustered. Huaisang opens the fan, looking down at the delicate trees inked onto it. It’s an older one, bought on one of his many visits to Jinlintai.
“Ahh, no, no,” he says. “I don’t have time for silly things like that nowadays. You all insist on giving me so much work to do!” He chokes the last few words out, dropping the fan onto the table and reaching for his wine cup. If he moves fast enough, Jiang Cheng might miss the way his hands have begun to shake. He’d wanted to paint a fan like this, one more detailed than this. He’d planned to go out into the mountains for a week or so, observing nature and painting to his heart’s content. And then he’d remembered the last time he’d wanted to do that, and how his brother had said no. He’d tried to beg and plead and then—
