Denji would think about a lot of things all at once, sitting in a cramped apartment that never felt like his. Just before his alarm rang, he would turn the TV on and look for a familiar spot on the ground. And when his alarm would go off, he would let it cry out until it stopped. He would stare at the ceiling when daylight broke through the window, starting from where it all began. And when the moon would overshadow the sun he would have gotten to the end of his 17 years of life once more.

“I- Uh- Jon.” Martin coughed out. “You should get some sleep or- or-”
He removed his face. “Apologies, I suppose some rest would do me well, but I sort of… You can keep doing whatever you’re doing. I like it.” The corners of his lips formed a smile, even if it got blocked by the dark of the room.
.Jon and Martin end up falling asleep together in the archives, and forget to wake up before work starts.

The pain stopped. And Jon took a deep breath.
Once again, his fingers lightly pressed against his cheekbone, only to his horror to find it had shifted and warped from its original position. The bone slightly crunched as he touched it even lightly, sending more pain throughout his body.
Immediately he fell back in his chair from the burning he felt. Dizziness snuck up on him, as he stared up, the world twisting to form something it was not supposed to be. He heard another pop, though he could not even feel the pain anymore he was so swarmed with a warm yet uncomfortable feeling.

“Oh, uh well you don’t care but my hair is completely fucked up- Uh- Messed up!”
“Martin, it looks good.”
“You’re just being nice.”
“No it looks hot- Well no wait, how do I put this, it’s a really attractive haircut and I like it.” The skin around his eyes and nose turned ever so slightly red. “And I was just asking.” Oh god, he used the first word that came to mind. If he had continued with his original thought it could have been some sort of violation. He had no attraction to his coworker, he was simply not thinking, and it was clear no one was thinking in that room because both of them had seemed to have gone brain dead after what he said clicked completely between both of them.
