However, when Will is beamed back to the Potemkin following a rescue mission on Nervala IV, Kathryn notices a discrepancy in the lifesign readings down on the planet. A transporter accident has resulted in a situation that ought to be impossible: two Willaim Rikers have been re-materialised. Now both of them are back on the Potemkin… and neither of them is willing to give her up.
