Once again, this will take place in my alternate universe of the Cavit Ro Voyager Alternate Retelling, but I’ll move ahead to 2375 now that I’m at season five of my retelling, and just like most of the other Fictobers, I’m going to focus on places Voyager left behind, some glimpses of how things went differently in the Alpha Quadrant (most notably the different Maquis ship meant that Chakotay’s Maquis were in the Alpha Quadrant, which I’ve touched on before, and included Torres saving around a third of the Maquis).

Summary
After she arrives on Voyager, a Starfleet vessel, Maquis B'Elanna Torres reviews her history, especially as it pertains to Thomas Paris. She records her perceptions of old and new crew mates as well as aliens they meet during their flight through the Delta Quadrant towards their homes in the Alpha Quadrant (and, in a few cases, the Beta Quadrant).
Although the stories follow the "canon" of the show pretty closely, some inclusions that do not directly contradict what was portrayed visually on the series do appear.
The three original stories first published separately on the ASC mail service in the late 1990's will appear here as chapters in a single work. The final chapters are new and were first published in 2024 and 2025.

They did a full sensor sweep of the planet as well as a physical search of the planet. Not only were there no signs of their missing crew, but there was no sign of anyone on the planet. Although the people they were trying to set up trade with were small in comparison to what the planet could support, it was as if no one had ever inhabited the planet. All they found was the shuttle with a Talaxian with no memory of the last 72 hours.

Kathryn Janeway always believed in clearly defined parameters.
When one was lost in the uncharted territories of the Delta Quadrant, the parameters provided a safety net, helping her maintain the professional relationship between the two commanding officers of the Federation Starship Voyager.
Some parameters, however, can be very hard to define when the whole universe seems to conspire to pull you together.
AU of season 5 onwards, in which Janeway and Chakotay get together and navigate the challenges of maintaining a romantic relationship and the demands of command. Starts around Timeless and follows the timeline, tweaked where necessary to fit with the AU.

Summary
Shortly after making contact with Starfleet via the Pathfinder Project, the USS Voyager visits the Noetar Station in the hopes of performing some long overdue maintenance and trading with the resident species. Most of the crew are riding a wave of optimism following recent events, and Captain Kathryn Janeway is determined to sustain that hope—even when she's struggling to keep her own worries at bay. An upcoming birthday isn't helping, as it's yet another reminder of how much longer it will take to get home.
Although first contact goes smoothly, the ship soon loses contact with its away team just as the crew fall ill with a mysterious malady that leaves them slightly altered—and continuing to change. The captain and her senior staff suspect the Noetar may be behind what's happening, but it's a race against the clock to stop them. For as Janeway has long suspected, time is not always on their side.

Now it hung cloaked at the far end of the Delta Quadrant like a stone rippling a pond of stars, cloaked but crippled. The bridge of the Aegis was a maelstrom of chaos. Panels exploded. Wires hung from the ceiling. The klaxon screamed. The emergency lights glowed red. The air smelled of burnt circuitry, and a faint haze lingered amid shattered consoles.
None aboard knew their location or its cause, but one truth was clear: the Delta Quadrant would never be the same.

Summary
After their stint in Akritirian prison, Harry and Tom develop a comfy but unspoken sleeping arrangement that neither of them are brave enough to address. Harry struggles with his presumably unrequited feelings while actively lusting after his best friend in embarrassing ways, and Tom is really no better. Voyager visits a planet with a unique set of resources that could really help out the crew's morale, but a secret window of opportunity nearly strands Tom on the surface. At least, that's what Harry believes. Meanwhile, Tom Paris is alone and broken, left on a strange planet to survive.
