“A business call?” Vox asked, keeping his gaze fixed on the wall as Alastor strolled behind him. “For what?”
“A proposal,” came Alastor’s reply.
“What kind of proposal?” Vox bit out, a headache beginning to form behind his screen.
He turned around and blinked in surprise at finding Alastor suddenly down on one knee, grinning up at him. His mind came to a screeching halt when Alastor grabbed one of his hands and fished a small black box out of his pocket.
“A proposal,” Alastor repeated, flicking open the box to display a golden ring adorned with an obnoxiously huge diamond. It, along with Alastor’s beaming smile, blinded Vox. “Whattaya say?”

Months after getting divorced, Alastor and Vox decide to get married again, for all of Hell to see. But it's just for show. Really.

“What?” Vox said, startling out of his trip down memory lane.
Vox blinked at Luga. She didn’t blink back.
With a growing cavern of ice freezing over the pit of his stomach, Vox said, “No, they’re not.”
“Yes, they are.”

Alastor smiled in pride and leaned in to just leave a quick peck to Vox’s screen but he stopped himself after the smell hit his nose. He frowned and his ears dropped as he sniffed Vox’s screen and neck. Vox was still smiling. “Baby? I thought you were against PDA? What’s happening?”
“You smell.”
“I don’t? I just took a shower. Hey stop.”
“No you’re right, you don’t smell…”
“See-”
“You reek. You reek of Valentino.”

“Oh but you can’t…” Charlie smiled. “You see, because you tortured my dad and burnt my friend’s wing, you owe me too. And you haven’t paid me yet. And I take my payment in couple’s therapy. A few sessions until we decide you won’t fuck up the city again over a fight.”
“I… Can’t I just give you money? Or… or I can promote the hotel. I can promote the hotel really good princess, think about it.” Vox said with his charming voice and smile.
