When Todoroki hesitated, Izuku didn’t wait—he simply slipped an arm around Todoroki’s waist and, with one swift motion, lifted him effortlessly with a single arm.
The entire gym went silent for a split second.
Even Todoroki blinked, his usual stoic expression shifting ever so slightly.

Summary
Izuku Midoriya is used to putting up an act, day in and day out he plasters on a sunshine smile and pretends to ignore the way Bakugou and All Might’s comments have buried into his brain (let alone what his mother says). However, things are getting more difficult and his new friends seem to be WAY more perceptive then the Dekusquad. Oh well, what could go wrong?

Okay so basically I feel like absolute shit because my antidepressants aren’t working anymore so here’s a fic of Izuku suffering (totally not projecting onto him instead of contacting my therapist). This is not beta read so except several mistakes.
