Summary
Kaedehara Kazuha was in love with The Balladeer, the Sixth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers.
It was the worst possible thing that could have happened to him. Kazuha had once cried to Beidou about the loss, his hatred for the Harbinger burned fiercely in his chest. And now? Now he was in love with that very same man, the same man that hurt him in ways he wasn’t aware of.
He hadn’t been able to sleep well for weeks, this restless state had become his nightly routine. Occasionally, he managed to snatch a few hours of sleep, but most nights, he just couldn’t bring himself to rest his eyes for a few moments. It has been eating away at him, like an inescapable shadow lurking in his mind. The weight of his thoughts affected every aspect of his life, even during his travels.
His friends had noticed the change in his entire persona. As much as he wanted to tell them his troubles and thoughts, he just couldn’t. This secret was too dangerous to share. If they ever found out, his world would collapse beneath his feet. He had tried countless times to move on, to forget the source of his torment, but it was evident.
