Vi hated interrogation rooms. They reminded her too much of a prison cell for her comfort. Usually she wasn’t in them for too long, Cait was sweet on her like that, but this one was certainly wearing thin on her. The room didn’t have a clock, but by her estimate she’d been there for a few hours at least. She’d spent enough time counting tiles and cracks in Stillwater to know that much.
The door juggled.
Vi’s eyes snapped towards it, her feet sliding off the table and onto the floor just as the door swung open.
“Geeze, about fucking time cupcake-” The words died in her mouth as the individual stepped forward.
And they definitely weren’t sweet with cherry frosting.
