Nick had always taken a little pride in understanding Crowe’s oddities- he liked to think they made a good team, anyways. Crowe’s straightforward nature got a bit much sometimes, sure, but they at least listened when he told them as much.
Hell, they were able to take down Kellog together, no problem. That guy’s kill-count should speak for how impressive that was.
So why was it that this run-of-the-mill case suddenly leaves them looking like they’re seeing ghosts?
Or: Yall ever make a quicksave at the WORST possible time?
