Summary
Qifrey has tea with Beldaruit to share that he and Olruggio are finally together. Olruggio tries to interrupt at his scheduled time but is... stressed and tries to flee. He isn't allowed to abandon Qifrey.

“I didn’t lose him!” Qifrey hissed, leaning forwards now. “I’m trying to say I’m with him-”
“Olruggio isn’t here, Qifrey.” Beldaruit was clearly teasing him but Qifrey was ready to scream. To leave and march down the hall and slam a door as if he was a teenager again.
He took a breath.
“Beldaruit, I am trying to tell you that Olly and I are in a relationship,” he said, tone forcefully even and resembling the calm he projected when one of his apprentices was being particularly petulant.
The other witch paused, tea cup halfway to his mouth. “What?”

Summary
The door swung open by Tetia's hand, and their first surprise came when instead of heavy rain intruding inside like the sight outside the windows suggested it would, there was a clear sky in the doorframe. The second and far more prominent and heart-dropping surprise was Master Olly in princess carry in the arms of a stranger, unconscious, dry-looking and wrapped in a stark-white cloak, beneath which sneak-peeks of bandages could be seen.
The third, and arguably just as big surprise, was the man carrying him: he looked identical to Master Qifrey, if not for the complete pair of eyes and the black hair not covering the right side of his face. His pince-nez-style monocle on his right eye did nothing to hide that.

Or, Olruggio gets seriously injured, and gets rescued by someone that everyone thought they had lost.
OR, see that Qifrey from that chat fic of mine? His pre-transmigration self gets yeeted back into the past to undoom the OruFrey. Angst edition cos he got to after his OG death.
