Summary
Or the silly unofficial title: "My Transgender Isekai Story Did Not Begin With Reincarnating as a Girl."
This'll be a long one, but if you're ready for a slow, introspective story about being a trans woman and finding yourself in shonen isekai or other fantasy typically geared toward a male audience, this is the place. Inspired by the visual novels of Cinnamon Switch, the writings of Alex Zandra, and a ton of manga I've read.
Also as a minor spoiler, but for those who it matters to: the protagonist *will* eventually be magically transformed into a girl (at least in body), but that's in Book 2. A big part of this story is how the trans experience doesn't start or end with the transition of the body, and there'll be much more story to tell once we get there.
