“Oh, gosh Clay…”
Clay coughed for a few more seconds before shaking his head. “I’m…I’m alright Macy. I’m just a little out of it.”
Macy laughed, almost a little hysterically. “Clay…” She said softly. “Just…just don’t ever do something like that again, alright?”
Macy pulled Clay into a hug, albeit a loose one to ensure that she wasn’t hurting him.
Jestro stood off the side, feeling like he was intruding on a private moment. He looked down, feeling a little upset for some reason, when he suddenly felt Clay’s eyes on him. Clay looked at him in surprise.
“You came back,” he said breathlessly.

An exploration of what could have happened near the end of Season 2's Kingdom of Heroes where Clay is taken as Monstrox's vessel instead of Jestro, because the scene we got is dreadfully short.

Summary
I liked seasons 3 and 4 fine, but Jestro's return to villany felt like it scrubbed off his character development, and Clay's descent felt unfinished. So... why not kill two birds with one change to canon?

By loving Jestro so hard that Monstrox can't cope.Basically the climax of A Wrinkle in Time but with Jestro as Charles Wallace, Monstox as It, and Lavaria as Meg.
