He dreams the life in Linkon City. He escapes reality by spending time with the girl in his dreams from an alternate universe. Bound by time, the Grim Reaper needs to find his way back to his own world.

It had seemed like a reasonable statement at the time, a bit of bravado to remind his pipsqueak who had her back when she was feeling down. A reminder that her super dependable, super reliable, super awesome (and super handsome) big brother/childhood friend/whatever is there for her forever and always.
But now, watching Zayne inch ever closer to her, Caleb was coming to a devastating epiphany. Apparently, there were plenty of motherfuckers she could depend on. A whole parade of them, in fact—none of whom were him.
