Summary
As a tall, graceful man with long, beautifully shaped limbs walked out from the crowd and towards the dean, Xue Yang could only see the back of his head and his long, black hair which fell in graceful slopes down his back. And then, after joining the dean, the man turned toward the crowd and Xue Yang felt as if all air had been sucked out of his lungs.
The man smiled, his black eyes warm as he took in the sight of the crowd, his full lips framing a beautiful set of pearly white teeth.
"Good afternoon, everyone. I am Xiao Xingchen, and I am looking forward to working with all of you."Edited summary 15/09/2022
Xue Yang is reincarnated, without being aware of that, as it usually goes.
Despite tagging this as "Alternate Universe - Reincarnation", it will be slightly different than what you are used to. The characters will have the same appearance, but their life experiences and behaviors will be slightly different. Reincarnation part is mostly significant for Xue Yang and Xiao Xingchen :)Tags will be added as we go.

Summary
I've decided to put this fic on hold for a while.
There are things I need to rethink and edit, and my health hasn't been the best. I hope it isn't for long. The absolute loss of consciousness that supposedly comes with death is, surprisingly, not as quiet as he expects. It actually feels like a fall first, a very long fall. Then there’s a sudden lift, as if he has been pulled up with a rope around his chest.
What’s happening? Where is he now? What happened before?
“...what happened? Xingchen?” Xiao Xingchen turns so violently his neck hurts with the movement, and by his side, the usually stoic and calm Song Zichen is looking at him with a worried frown on his face.Or
After slicing his throat open Xiao Xingchen wakes up back in the past, by the time Xue Yang was first captured and taken to the Unclean Realm.
Considering everything he knows about the future that awaits them, he decides to take responsibility and become Xue Yang's keeper before he hurts Song Lan. This is the opportunity Nie Huaisang was waiting for, having developed a method to change the behavior of violent people, he secures Xiao Xingchen's help to test it with Xue Yang as subject.Bookmarked by Jixngzqi
