Summary
So here's the thing about getting hit by a truck: you're supposed to wake up in a hot anime boy's harem or whatever. Not in the body of a B-list superhero from a show you only half-paid attention to while eating takeout.
But no. She's in The Boys universe now. Stuck as Starlight. Surrounded by sociopaths in spandex. And her only goal is to not get lasered into fine red mist by Evil Superman with mommy issues.
Simple, right? Just stay quiet, don't draw attention, and definitely don't say anything that makes Homelander like her.
Except she panics. And overshares. And accidentally says something about how lonely he must be, looking down at everyone, never having anyone who can just stand next to him.
And now he's looking at her like she's the first person who's ever seen him.
She didn't want this. She didn't ask for this. She just wants to go back to her apartment and her shitty Wi-Fi and her complete lack of mortal peril.
But Homelander doesn't let go of things he wants.

He’d changed.
The expensive suit and watch were missing. Instead, he wore all black now. A long sleeve shirt, black slacks and black loafers. The black leather gloves were the only thing the same. This fact did nothing to calm my racing heart. Something told me the wardrobe change wasn’t a good sign.
“Oh. You noticed,” Roman Sionis said as he walked closer. “Blood is… difficult to get out of linen, so I like to wear something a little more… forgiving when I’m working. Or playing.”
He stalked up to me and grabbed my chin in an iron grip. Tilting my head this way and that, he hummed.
Then smacked me right across the face.
Right where Dylan had hit me earlier.
My lip split again; the scab ripped away by the casual violence. I cried out and held my freshly throbbing face with both hands. Blood poured out of my mouth and I let it drip onto the floor between my bare feet.
“You know what they say… do what you love and you’ll never really work a day in your life,” he intoned. A grotesque amount of glee in his voice. “You have a part to play now, doll.”
I was really beginning to hate that word.

Bom, mas meio que enrolou um pouco
Acho que os capítulos entre 55 e 77 poderiam ser juntados de 2 em 2 ou 3 em 3, muitos capítulos curtos divididos em grande quantidade, quando poderia ser colocado em menos de 10.(muitos capítulos para pouco enredo)
Mas é bom, muito bom, gostei do enredo.
