Summary
Dante Sparda, a man of many legends, or- well, more like many jokes. But he’d like to call them legends; had got himself caught up once again in his emotions. It was another way-too-quiet day at the office, lights flickering due to the poor state of whatever bills he had. He’d spent so much money on repairs towards the damage he’d do in fights, he made little to no benefits in payments for said missions. It was his own personal limbo, and all he could do was sit and watch it slowly tear apart the threads of simplicity that held his life together. Was it something he could necessarily pressure the people closest to him with? No, not at all. He mentally answered his own question. It wasn’t serious enough to bother anyone with his issues.
Or,
Dante had been touch starved more than ever lately, and it’s been distracting him on missions. Instead of coming to you for help, he’s too embarrassed to look weak and lies to get what he wants instead.

"I'm aware," Vergil replied. He paused. "I apologise. There were some… complications."
He had already come to terms with the fact that his father wouldn’t show up for his birthday. Truthfully, he’d resigned himself to the familiar sting of disappointment. But when Vergil did arrive, Nero wasn’t even remotely prepared for the gift he brought with him. Not by a long shot.
