Summary
“Got stabbed… Shadow… something feels wrong…. it's so hot”
Your words came out sideways, head just above water as you struggled to stay with him. Soap could see the quakes that rocked beneath him, violent tremors rattling your sweat-soaked form. The wound wasn't deep but the torn skin was shaded sickly yellow with a hint of green along the edges, dark blood seeped lazily down the length of your hip and into a tacky stain down your cargos.
Steadily he reached down- fingertips just hovering over the bloodied flesh. You were burning up.
A fire seemed to radiate from the wound
It smelled like lingering saliva, potent morning breath that should only be spit.
Poison on the blade he thought grimly
“Bloody bastards”

Summary
Ash has been with The Bad Batch for 8 months now. So far, everything's been running like clockwork, but after her 6 month check-in with Kamino, something shifts in her life and she now feels like there may be something bigger going behind the original assignment that was given to her by her Superiors.
