Summary
Reincarnation is a tricky thing, especially when you've completely forgotten who you are. It could be as much a blessing as a curse. For Mu Qing, who had a steady income, a sort of nice apartment and yes, an actual long-term relationship with his enemy-turned-friend-turned-something more, suddenly being visited in his dreams by his 'past self' who also happened to be a God was more like a curse. No, definitely a curse!
Then, as if it couldn't get any worse, the God starts bothering him in his waking hours too. Even worse, he came prepared with a plan: 1. Cultivate himself an immortal body. 2. Ascend to the Heavenly Realm as a God. 3. Get rid of Feng Xin for good.
"Over. My. Dead. Body. You're not killing my boyfriend."
And when said boyfriend gets a visit from his godly counterpart... their apartment isn't big enough to contain all those pent up emotions, centuries of rivalry and resentment and wait, hold up... are those hidden desires?

Mu Qing had been living alone with his feelings for far too long. Envy, hatred, annoyance, affection– centuries had come and gone and left him still alone, still pining. Not wishing. He would never speak of them to anyone, would rather have his tongue cut than his mind spoken.
An unlucky encounter on a mundane day in a cursed place was all it took for that to change. Involuntarily, his innermost thoughts, emotions and desires were now on clear display for the one and only person he wished would never find out.

He was so wonderful, and it hurt because it wasn’t real, because in what real world could Mu Qing ever want Feng Xin? He was too much – too loud, too thoughtless, too oblivious to his own feelings. He was too much and not enough and it hurt.
Feng Xin tries to set up Xie Lian and Hua Cheng, but ends up setting himself up with Mu Qing by mistake. It would be easy; pretend to date Mu Qing for a few weeks and then break up...right?
