They used to share a bed when they were younger. It felt like that again now. The darkness seemed to amplify every noise in the room. Dean could have been right next to him, shoulders stuck together with sweat. He was in the other bed, but the separation was small. Just a nightstand and a digital alarm clock stood between them. If he wanted too, Sam could reach out and touch the edge of Dean’s bed. He didn’t.
