    Summary

    A story about being out of touch and getting into trouble in back alleys no matter your age, social standing or role assigned to you by the greater mechanisms of power.

    Or, a forgotten war hero's weirdest night out in a long time.

    Written to destress after releasing 2 games in the span of 3 months under the Data Sparrow art collective, and to give our boy Quatre Asselin more of a W than usual. He's actually pretty cool, despite me putting him in many dubious situations.

    Summary

    On March 9th 2370, a visit to the cradle of mankind to celebrate speed, loud engines and the potential reintegration of Earth into the wider astropolitical landscape turns very sour, very quick for the crown prince of the Avignon empire and his favourite boy-crush. Swords are drawn, fighting words are spoken, and necks are grazed with high-frequency blades in a fast-approaching international incident.

    Or, the dangers of mixing Formula 1, violent merchant oligarchs and a cold war between star systems.

    A short story set in the shared setting of the Data Sparrow art collective, written to celebrate the release of our latest work: "Golden Lap 2370", a setting/rebalancing mod for Funselektor's wonderfully stylish F1 management game, "Golden Lap".

    For more information about the mod and Data Sparrow as a whole, please check the notes at the end of the story.

    Summary

    The year is 0079 U.C.

    Stuck between a piano and a hard place, Lieutenant Commander Sark of Zeon's Earth Attack Force contemplates escape plans, fantasizes mass murder and takes a load off with the only person among her captors who seemingly sees her as a human being.

    For now, that is.

    Summary

    A story about realizing you're not the protagonist, but rather a particularly difficult boss in someone else's TAS run.

    Or, a smug dictator with a flair for the dramatic is thrown for a loop so hard he breaks.

    Written mainly to entertain myself and my friend Cori, part of the greater Data Sparrow setting - specifically, as a prequel to "Nothing Valued Is Buried Here". That said, the canonicity of everything below is on an "if you want it to be" basis. It's just a story, after all.

    Summary

    A three part story in multiple PoVs, covering the same fateful day of the Great Colonial War across three different planets.

    Written in an effort to Use My Fucking Characters™, since most of my writing for the Data Sparrow collective mainly involves worldbuilding for the setting they inhabit.

    Summary

    A dubiously canonical sequel to "Nothing Valued Is Buried Here", mostly written as a palette cleanser following several months of nothing but writing about geopolitics, technical specifications and general setting lore.

    It is admittedly messy and was written entirely to entertain myself. As such, it probably still needs some edits, which it will receive when i have time to do so.

    Summary

    A defector-turned-war hero visits the final resting place of an old friend, but things turn out more horrifying than he could have possibly imagined.

    Or, why you shouldn't consume alien parasites as a recreational substance.

    Set in the Data Sparrow shared universe and written as an exercise in linear storytelling - as most of the writing I've been doing for the past few years has been logs and primary sources. Potentially canon to Tremerine: Sea of the Stars and all other Data Sparrow works.

    /// Disclaimer ///
    This story is actually alright. There's bits I could have done better and one particularly cringe chapter, but the overall package is pretty fun.

    /// Synopsis ///
    A series of accounts documenting the trail of a strange, strange privateer along the starways of the Persean Sector.

    Or, a recounting of my current Starsector campaign through various emails, logs and diaries recounting its various events in a mostly accurate way.

    Will be updated sporadically and grossly out of order as I come up with interesting ways to write down said events. Please don't take this too seriously.
