    He paused for a moment, before his voice came out laced with something heavier. “Is that what you prefer? Forwardness?”

    You giggled, shooting him a wink over your shoulder. “Amongst other things.”

    The lock clicked open, the knob turned, and you were stepping inside without another word. “Goodnight, Ford.”

    But before you could shut the door, his hand shot out to stop it.

    Confused, your gaze flickered upwards to meet his through the gap. “Ford?”

    “Pardon my forwardness then, my dear.” He gently pushed the door open. “May I come in?”

    I was feeling the Larp drop and missed my character, Spleed. So I decided to continue his lore. I am chronically ill and can usually manage to the one full day of gameplay that weekend larps have but Drachen was five days of active gameplay so I decided to make my character “Poor in health” as to avoid breaking character during flare ups. I then realized it would be fun to come up with a magical reason for the body to destroy itself.

    Nate’s first thought is to make a joke, until he remembers who he’s talking to. He tips his head over his shoulder to get Nick’s meaning, and continues pilfering through the pockets of the one bloated ghoul in front of him.

    He spots it then, the point of dark liquid blooming through the left side of Nick’s coat.

    “Ah, shit, are you okay? What- what happened?”

     

    Or, Nick gets injured, and he is very certain it’s not a big issue.
