Summary
War sharpens the body. Trauma sharpens the mind.
Brigadier General Cristina Kuroda has built a career on discipline, precision, and silence—but when she’s embedded with Task Force 141 for a multi-national counter-terror operation, old wounds begin to surface. One mission stretches into months, testing everything: control, command, and the line between caution and care.
There are rules she never breaks.
And a soldier who refuses to follow them.

Summary
Ten years.
Ten years since you had left, and yet the world still fought the same wars, and the same corruption still prevailed.
Ten years of wondering, of questioning, had you made the wrong choice?
Well, there was only one thing you could do now.
You could try to make the right one. -

"The Queen'll have y'r head if she knew y'were here." He hisses again and grabs your shoulder, yanking you back to face him and not the rest of the guests.
"She'll have yours too if she knew you were hiding among her ranks!" You whisper yell back, motioning to his knight's armor. "It's a miracle you haven't been found out yet with how careless you've been. I mean, seriously Ghost, wearing the skull mask? Right now, of all times?"

Summary
Naja is a soldier. She's a cold-hearted unit that, after horrid training in the arts of torture, manipulation, and assassination...learned that people are not to be trusted. To her, there is no good or evil. Just winners and losers, and who tells the story of who won the war. After a chance encounter with a masked man who goes by Klaus...things get sticky. Her heart is confused, her mind is thinking less like a machine. Every night she's wondering what is wrong with her, but it's all because of one stammering man who doesn't talk much.
[This is fixing Naja's character from my previous fic. As people grow and change, so do their perceptions of how they take on different projects. This is something I'm a bit more proud of since this is a story that feels a bit less...Mary Sue. Also, thank you to all my homies for allowing me to include their COD ocs in this fic.]
