The thought burned her up from the inside, heart racing, breath visible against the stormy air, almost glowing amongst the clouds. The possibility of how things might have gone consumed her. How did it go from the war against the dragons to a fight for them. In either case, it was the fight of her life. All because of one moment. One person. Now she kept burning. Alone. Unable to look at green eyes, to remove the smell of smoke from her clothes, to forget the feel of smooth scales beneath her fingertips. When she returned, she’d blame the meeting. The stress, the responsibility. Eyes would watch from every house and Sneaky would climb through her window but it would never be the eyes she craved. Never the dragon she missed. The ones that would never entirely wash away.

Summary
A collection of moments from Hiccup's perspective of him being hopelessly in love with Astrid Hofferson but not wanting to confess it, especially since he is in disguise and she doesn't know it's Hiccup.
Focus eluded him. Or rather, purpose eluded him. It would have been impossible in that moment to remember why they were up there, but Hiccup was incredibly focused. Completely fixated on the scene before him. The story in Astrid’s eyes, the lines on her face that wove the tale, and slowly, the curve of her lips. Chapped from the frigid Berk air and cracked from what he guessed to be years of flying. Her lips that had once been pressed to his in a final goodbye. And Hiccup forgot himself. He reached out his hand to grab her own. When she didn’t move away, he moved closer, until he was sure she could see his eyes through the mask, until she could have reached out, and taken it off, and he wouldn’t have stopped her.
One shot based within the universe of my au, can be read alone.

Summary
Neil and Todd have a big ass fight and profess their love in the messiest way.
Todd’s eyes finally met his and Neil thought that look may kill him. Stop breathing, slow his heart. It would be a peaceful death. Looking at Todd. Although it felt so familiar. An amused exhale escaped, Neil. “You know, you wouldn’t be the first poet to do this.” He smiled wistfully. “It happens to all of us. Some more frequently than we’d like to admit.” Neil smiled at the storm outside. “We started calling them our renegade moments. It’s a good thing we shared rooms a lot. It’s sort of a way to let the others know they need to back off for the day.” He actually chuckled this time. “Mostly because Charlie was always stepping in it after someone had had a bad night.”
