“Rough day?”
He turns to find a man sitting at the table next to him. A very attractive man with sandy blonde hair, ocean-blue eyes looking into his, that seem to pull him in, making him feel like he might sink and drown in their depths. The man is wearing a blue cardigan that complements his eyes, and he has broad shoulders and a sharp jawline. He would look intimidating if it wasn’t for the softness that radiates from him. He’s undeniably beautiful.
Objectively, of course.
Alex clears his throat, “Rough date,” he corrects. “Yeah it was… bad. As bad as it could get, really.”
Or: Alex goes on dates but meets a blonde man in a café. He keeps meeting him, and the man won’t leave his mind. Why is that man having more of an effect on Alex than any of his dates?
