    "So, I've been thinking," Aang suddenly blurts one morning, completely unprompted. "Wanna explore the temple with me?"

    Zuko gives up on meditating and fixes the Avatar with a withering glare.

    "What about any of this," Zuko gestures to himself, to the Avatar, and then to the still rising sun, "makes you think I'll say yes."

    Aang doesn't lose his smile. If anything, it grows infuriatingly wider. "You did yesterday!"

    When Aang and Zuko return to camp after their expedition to the Sun Warriors' island, Aang believes he's found a new friend on top of a brand new bending teacher. Zuko, on the other hand, still needs a little more convincing on the former.
