   Summary

   He remembers his past crystal clear, a haunting reminder of the horrifying end his people had met at the hands of Morgoth's army. His memories are not fleeting dreams, but vivid echoes of a life long lost, a life that was not meant to end as it did. He had not always been a simple hobbit. Hell, he wasn’t even a true hobbit. Long before Bilbo Baggins became the unassuming and “respectable” hobbit of Bag End, he was something far less simple, something far more ancient.
