But Buggy doesn’t have short hair, his hands don’t struggle to close around the handle of his knives and he has never looked like he is now, with a wary gaze that follows every movements as if there's a beast ready to pounce at him. Also, Buggy isn’t an eight years old boy".
In a sudden accident, Buggy is turned into a kid. Faced with this challenge they certainly didn't plan for, Mihawk and Crocodile must deal with this problem while both getting a better understanding of Buggy as a person and deciding how they're going to move forward once it all settles.

Kakashi stared. And stared. And stared and stared and stared some more, but he still can't seem to get enough of what he was seeing.
But then this was a world in war, all was still in hell, they had war dogs beyond the borders and inside the walls, and Gai was all but lost since Kakashi daren't remembered and - could Kakashi even say he was a good friend to Gai? He couldn't even, shame on him, remember the last time he'd actually talked to Gai OR bothered to keep tabs on his well-being or life (that was ages, years ago, right after Gai had just received his chuunin vest and almost immediately went MIA with his entire team after their dispatch to what was supposedly a deadly mission), so naturally, of course Kakashi wouldn't know if the bastard sired a son or not.
"Hey, kid, sorry for staring so much. Where's your mother? Or father?"
"I have no parents. I'm an orphan."
And Kakashi, senior in living through this cruel, cruel world, but had his - he was proud of it, he begrudgingly admitted so - talents and ingenuity to survive on, was going to make sure this child survived in this world.

“...Neji?” Gai asked, cautiously. The boy winced at his voice. Gai’s eyes widened, “Neji. Neji. Come on, I need you to wake up,” he said in the calmest, mother-hen-esk voice he could muster while gently shaking him.
Slowly, his eyes opened to half-mast and Gai let out a sigh of relief.
“Oh thank God, Neji, do you understand me?”
The boy blinked slowly then groaned as a wave of fresh pain crashed across his face. Gai winced.
“Okay, Neji. If you can understand me, I need you to listen,” he said, returning to the medical equipment. “We’re going to get you back to the hospital. I need you to stay awake. I know you’re tired, but it’s very important that you don’t fall asleep, okay?”REVIEWS |
