Summary
The First Order has fallen, a mere few hours ago. Rey knows that because she was there, fighting her way through the halls to the inevitable showdown between her and the Supreme Leader. Adrenaline pumping in her veins, his year-old betrayal fresh on her mind; she had been more than ready to take him on, lightsaber already drawn and pulsing a deep yellow as she cut her way through the stormtroopers who had not defected.
She was ready. To hurt him, to finish him, to do whatever they were cascading towards.
...Instead, she kidnaps him.

Summary
“There’s no shame in it, by the way,” Ben murmurs over his shoulder, the barest hit of teasing creeping back in along the edges of his low voice. An unmistakable downward dip of his eyes that she does not understand nor wish to analyse.
“What?” Rey mutters quietly, feeling as though all the fight has left her mind and body.
“Not knowing certain things… and needing a teacher.”
(In which Rey tries to navigate her new life on the Resistance’s base while the newly-defected Ben Solo makes himself the bane of her existence)
