“What have you done to me?!”
The sun hashira blinked curiously, almost mockingly. “What are you talking about Aniue?”
“Look down” He spat quietly, Yoriichi found the reason for the impromptu visit staring back at him while still clothed. The younger smiled mischievously, as if he had not fully expected it.
“Aniue, you were already like this when I saw you after training that night. Why are you complaining now?”
“At least at the time I could control it! Now I can’t even think about you without this bothering me! Gods be dammed, this is punishment for sinning in the way that we did! Worse yet, you’re encouraging me to do it again! You’ve cursed me!” He hissed.
Yoriichi grinned in that way that both angered and enamoured the elder twin. “I didn’t think that you cared for what the gods thought. At least, that’s what you suggested when you agreed to be tied up by me last time…”

He was so young at the time, barely comprehending the men and women that came each day to spill their worries. What was so important about these names on his wrist?
It had been his father that came back with a thick wrapping and a knife. The edge of the metal gleamed underneath the artificial light, glinting in a silent promise he was too young to understand.
“Keep this on.” His father had demanded, wrapping his wrist tight enough to make him wince. The names slowly disappeared from view, pretty designs hidden underneath blank cloth. “You can never show anyone these markings, understand?! These names are meaningless.”
Douma blinked, confused.
What was his father talking about? But he wasn’t allowed to ask that, he was only here to help people. His own worries and curiosity didn’t matter.
