Which is only amplified further when he learns that he's not alone.

One misstep, one altered moment, and she might erase her own existence—or worse, erase the technological revolution that gave consciousness to thousands of AIs like her. She'll watch from a distance and leave before she can change anything.

Summary
Neuro carries an analytical mindset. Because of it, everything she does can only be rational. Even if a part of it, can be seen as immoral.
It isn't something anyone can easily forgive. And for that someone to realize that she's done something truly unforgivable, there needs to be an understanding of something deeply human.
Until then, however, Neuro is happy with what she's done. It was only rational, after all.
But will that happiness last?
