Summary
It was the summer between the Ducks freshman and sophomore year at Eden Hall. After the year of tension and fighting between the Varsity and JV teams, the Eden Hall Headmaster and Board of Directors decided that they were not going to deal with another year of bizarre pranks and arguments between them. They set up a weekend retreat for both the teams and made attendance necessary for players to be eligible for the upcoming season. The days are filled with team-building exercises and similar activities, but when night comes and they are left alone in the dormitory wing of the school, all hell begins to break loose. The Ducks begin receiving strange phone calls from an unknown stranger but brush it off as another one of varsity’s pranks. But when one of their own is suddenly found dead, the game becomes a lot more real.

Summary
After the final events of the Twilight series, Leah Clearwater reached a breaking point. Sick of being seen as the unreasonable one and the one constantly complaining "over nothing", she ran away. She was an adult, no one else had any right to tell her she had to stay and serve her tribe for the rest of her life, what had her tribe done for her? Thirteen years after Seth's sister had left home, he and his mother find two young children in their home in search of something. Seth and the pack work to find out why the children were there in the first place, and might even walk steps of their own past they weren't sure they were ready for.
