Summary
Just a few months after the destruction of the bone mirror, the team of Lockwood & Co. has another big case to tackle:
When Lucy gets a letter from her little sister, begging her to come back and help her with a haunting doomed to kill them, she doesn't need long to make a decision, and neither George nor Lockwood are going to let her face this alone.To not get any unwanted attention in her hometown, Lucy and Lockwood agree to take a closer look disguised as a couple while George is busy researching. But when the haunting turns out to run much deeper and wilder than any of them thought, and other players enter the game, one question arises: Will Lockwood & Co. also make it out of this case unscathed?

Summary
Okay so if you’re looking for plot, backstory and world building detail you’ve come to the wrong fic, my friend!
There's a mystery dust and Lockwood and Lucy have accidentally got covered in it. (I’ve not gone into ANY detail as to what it is, although thinking perhaps just that maybe Lucy could have knocked into an urn that contained said mysterious ‘stuff’ while out on a job with Lockwood and a cloud of it had enveloped them) And it has to get washed off pronto. So with only one working shower in No.35 Portland Row, what other alternative is there but for two very professional associates to have to share it?
And that's it. That's what I had in my head for a 'story'. Totally just engineered this so we get a bit of awkward Locklyle together and a bit of mostly naked Lockwood seen through the eyes of Lucy. Sorry yes, I’m that shallow it seems.
Half thinking I might try and re-write this after from Lockwood’s POV too, but that’s a bit daunting as I’ve never written Lockwood before (never dared!). Either way it's not going to be long!

Summary

Lost, hurt, and looking for Lucy, he's about to derail their plans somewhat — and possibly their entire dimension, but that's rather secondary.

Lucy’s cheeks were turning pink when she finally said, “Let me get this straight. You want me to pretend to date you? For a conference discount?”
Lockwood stiffened. “I wasn’t going to put it that way, but I suppose that’s not untrue. I assure you that I won’t do anything untoward.”
“That’s hardly the problem with this situation.”
“So, what is the problem?” There was no doubt about it: this was the worst idea he had ever had. Lockwood summoned up every ounce of charm he possessed to flash Lucy a reassuring smile.

Lockwood’s been looking for a way to get Lucy back all winter, and when DEPRAC decides to host a weekend conference, he finally gets his chance. And if there’s a discount on registration fees for couples (excuse me, pairs)? That’s even better.

“Is it so awful to be around me that you’d rather die in the snowstorm?”
Lockwood intends it as a joke, he even attempts to smile, but it’s the question that has remained in the back of his mind for a month. Was it because of him?
Her eyes narrow and she swallows. “That’s not – of course not. I just need to get back to my flat. But yes, alright. Yes, I will stay.”
______It's almost New Year's Eve during the Black Winter when Lucy finds herself stuck at 35 Portland Row during a blizzard.
