Levi can’t see the end of the Siren’s tail, it is still hidden beneath the choppy waves. Blue eyes that reflect the bottomless depths settle on Levi.
“Hello there,” a deep voice croons from a sharp grin revealing canines that could slice through flesh with ease.
“Fuck off,” Levi hisses as he tightens his grip on the hilt of his sword. Pointing it towards the vile creature's chest. He should lunge right here and now, this Siren has killed his fellow men and set their ship aflame. But something pulls at his muscles, drawing his tendons tight and leaving him locked in place as he glares across the short distance between them.
“Aren’t you an interesting one,” the Siren ignores the threat of Levi’s weapon, leaning forwards until the tip presses against their chest. “My song didn’t affect you, did it?”

Summary
Levi has been recruited to join the Survey Corps by the young, charismatic, Captain Erwin Smith. Albeit apprehensively, Levi and his dearest friends are received into the regiment, and swept into the strange, sun-soaked world above the underground. When Levi is dragged to the captain's office for a scuffle during training, he finds that Erwin wants something from him, and for some reason, he just can’t refuse. Perhaps his welcome into the corps does not come without a debt to be paid.
Or manipulative Erwin convinces touch starved Levi that there is one very specific form of repayment acceptable for his freedom from the underground + some ackerbond shenanigans.
