Summary
After Chat Noir leaves his miraculous behind during Kuro Neko, Ladybug is devastated that she pushed her partner away enough for him to quit. Feeling unworthy of being a hero without him, Marinette gives the earrings permanently to Alya. The 'new' hero, Cat Walker, has no knowledge of this exchange taking place. While Marinette and Adrien struggle with the loss of their partnership due to their lack of communication, Alya is stuck in the middle, growing more and more frustrated with everything.

Summary
As Marinette returns to Paris for work after several years abroad, Ladybug is an illusive cryptid across the world and Chat Noir is still nowhere to be seen. Juggling her new job and Alya and Nino's wedding, she's picking up right where she left Paris; In the center of the case of Chat and the missing miraculous. As for Adrien, he's desperately trying to work on his thesis and figure out how to return the miraculous without blowing his cover all while his new roommate and the wedding are becoming more and more of a distraction to him. And yes they were roommates (oh my god they were roommates).
