Summary
Zeff is used to people being afraid of him. He's tall. He yells a lot. He's not especially friendly. To top it all off, he's a pirate, and a notorious one, and he has been reliably informed that he has an intimidating amount of facial hair.
The people stubborn enough to stomach his personality usually come to realize he's unlikely to cause non-enemies actual harm, aside from the occasional yelling or boot in the ass, and relax enough to stop looking over their shoulder.
The kid never does.
