It was said that if you listened closely near Aventurine of Stratagems office when the Out of Office sign was up, you would hear a ghost. Sounds of whining, wailing, screaming, of things being moved and tossed around.
And as Veritas Ratio swept books and files and pens onto the floor from Aventurine's desk, he vaguely understood how it could sound that way. What with Aventurine gasping loudly as he was pinned to the desk, face down by his neck and Ratio himself panting as he flared down at him.

“Trust me, doc. It’s very important.”
And so, Ratio arrives at Aventurine’s home.
“Satisfied? Now, what was so important that I needed to come here instead of catching up with my work?”
“You.” Aventurine says easily, leaning in towards the doctor with a lecherous grin. But there’s a mischievous glint in his eyes that has Ratio feeling suspicious, “You’re about ready to explode, doc! So, I’m making a generous offer here that’ll work out for the both of us.” Aventurine places a hand on his chest, “I get to try something I’ve always been curious about, and you,” he then moves that same hand to Ratio’s, making a point to place his gloved fingers against the open window on the doctor’s chest, “get to… release some tension, if you get what I mean.”
In which Aventurine uses his cornerstone for unintended purposes. Ratio has a great time.
