The weakest, the Civillian, the innocent stuntman stood further ahead of them having just completely demolished the Estreno base they had come across. No survivors, they had only just arrived, so they weren't exactly sure how it had occurred.

Summary
Basically, this is all a Star Butterfly is Skull crack idea. It started as a tired Ken stalling a nap time when on a call with Alex, mentioning this, and then having to defend it as a possibility. Also, Ao3 was down the day I wanted to look at my other fic on Ao3 so out of horror and pure boredom I started to write this out. SO here we are. It’s gonna be short and this was supposed to be crack but looking at it as I started, it defaulted as angst. Have fun.

And Scar can tell she says it on purpose, he can see the smugness in the way her lips tilt up, he can see the satisfaction in her eyes. She knows she had him trapped before she even spoke.
He decides, quite easily, that if he is willing to do this for Grian, then he is also willing to do this for Pearl.
Or, Scar finds himself wrapped up in centuries-old customs that are much larger than himself. No one is surprised when he stumbles into love.
