Xie Lian has a request.
“San Lang,” Xie Lian’s voice is shaky, and it takes effort not to thrust his hips back into that welcoming mouth. Eight hundred years of abstinence have nothing on Hua Cheng’s allure. “Alright.” Hua Cheng said, rolling his shoulders back a few times. “Oh magnificent god of mine, Taizi Dianxia,” he said, grinning, eyes firmly locked on Xie Lian’s. Xie Lian made a show of rolling his eyes. “Grant me your strength so I might vanquish your enemies on this mortal plane.”
Sorcery grad student Hua Cheng accidentally summons long-forgotten god Xie Lian into his dorm room in the middle of the night. They figure things out from there.

“What is Gege looking for in a spouse?” San Lang was clearly in a teasing mood. It was no use being flustered. Xie Lian’s only option was to play along.
“They’d have to be kind.” He started thoughtfully. “And they couldn’t be too particular, I lead a pretty simple life and I can’t imagine that changing very much, even after I get married…. Oh! And they’d have to get along with my kids.”
San Lang abruptly started coughing. “Gege has kids?” He choked out.
Banyue and Pei Xiu find Xie Lian before he can leave them in the desert. All of a sudden, Xie Lian is a single father of two.
