Eito has crafted a complicated web of lies in order to enact revenge on Takumi. However, with the unexpected kindness of the only person that is willing to get close to him, Eito ends up tangled in his own mess. While stuck together in the rain, Eito and Gaku realize that if it isn't each other, it might be no one. If it is desperation, loneliness, appreciation or a genuine attachment it matters little to them as Gaku gifts Eito part of his humanity, while Eito in turn, destroys part of his.
