Summary
Catra had imagined lots of scenarios for her first bus ride to school. Annoying people screaming on the seats around of her, getting kicked out by the bus driver for punching a random guy (wouldn’t be the first time), or whatever other torture school buses could provide.
She never imagined she’d be listening to Taylor Swift and sharing earphones with a complete stranger. A very cute stranger. And nothing felt weird or awkward., like if Adora and Catra had known each other for a long time already. Maybe the universe wasn’t so mean after all.

Summary
Catra huffs and begins scribbling down some letters. The school is stupid. Her teacher is stupid. This whole freaking assignment is stupid! Sure, she'll do the assignment but she's gonna half-ass it.
In 7th grade, Catra is forced to write to a randomly assigned pen pal. Over the course of the year, she begins to genuinely look forward to those weekly letters with her new faraway friend.
(Or... Catra and Adora become pen pals! Based on the SPOP Creative Flex server's weekly prompt, the prompt being: "Letters, writing".)

'Standing in front of her, dressed like a literal princess, is the most beautiful girl Catra has ever seen. Her long, blonde hair is pulled back and styled in a braid, just like the character she’s playing, though it’s just a little bit darker. She’s smiling, soft and gentle and so beautifully, and it lights up her bright blue eyes. They’re so blue, like the sky on a sunny day, which is pretty hilarious considering she’s playing the ice princess. The girl in front of her is completely, utterly flawless.
And Catra is stood wearing matching t-shirts and lame Mickey-ear hats with her equally lame best friends.'
Or, Catra goes to Disneyland for the day, and Adora is the hot girl playing Elsa.
