Summary
Weiss Schnee was a wanting, yearning mess. Her entire life she simply wanted to feel normal, but duty and morality bound her to her fate as heiress of her family's business. When the prospect of college offered her a way out of the life under her father's overbearing gaze, she would gladly take it.
At Beacon University, she would meet an unlikely individual who would quickly become amongst the few people to ever truly care about who Weiss really was. A wholesome - if troubled - girl by the name of Ruby Rose. But Ruby had her own baggage - she was a member of the supernatural world, needing to keep her secret as she navigated her own way through life.
Dark plots and sinister schemes abound, the two threaten to be caught in a dangerous web; facing adversity at every turn, lurking behind every corner. In a world where dark magicks, bloodthirsty monsters, and unknowable horrors roam free, yet hidden within plain sight, reality will shatter before Weiss' very eyes. What will she find when she stares into those broken shards? Who will she see in their grim reflection?
Will her purpose become clear?
Will she find solace in it?
Or simply sorrow?
