Ratio doesn't say anything, but his expression flattens out once more, eyes steeling with intensity.
All at once Aventurine realizes that, yes, he really is propositioning him for sex.
aventurine's cornerstone has been taken from him to be held by his partner. mired in uncertainty about its whereabouts, he practically rips the other's room apart to find it.
thankfully, the good doctor has some ideas on how aventurine can trust him more--and how he can be punished for his indiscretions.

"And since when does that matter to you?" Kaeya snaps, pushing past him to unlock his door. Diluc moves out of the way.
"I deserve that."
Kaeya doesn't deign to respond to such an asinine statement. He pushes open the door and makes to close it on him, but Diluc wedges his boot in the way before he can manage it.
"Can I come in?"
"You really have some nerve, Diluc Ragnvindr."
kaeya hates his birthday and wishes diluc would leave him alone. diluc does not do that.

Beautiful, he wants to say, the word saccharine on the tip of his tongue. His initial assumptions are false—no marble pillar can shiver as beautifully as this miracle of flesh and muscles and tendons, wonderfully reactive. Kaveh wants to take him apart, unravel the threads of his relentless rationality until nothing remains of him but this humanity, all this softness that does not quite fit right with the rest of him.
