Wumuti’s ears are ringing. So many thoughts start swirling through his head, like how virginity is a made up concept and Haru has nothing to “lose” but he can’t even begin to get the words out because, what? Haru just gazes up at him with wide eyes, his shoulders drawn up like a shy anime girl and suddenly Wumuti feels a bit perverted for finding him cute now.

Wumuti’s breath hitched. “Maybe I don’t want to.”
Rui’s lips curled into a smirk, pleased, triumphant, but there was something else there too—something softer, something that made Wumuti’s heart stutter in a way that had nothing to do with the heat curling in his stomach.
“Good,” Rui whispered.
